Massages, Pool, and the Lidl Bottle Economy
Another chill day. We had a mobile massage therapist come to the condo so we each got a 60-minute treatment. It was sooo good and such a great way to wind down the trip. We got to chatting with her and learned she's Italian but moved to the UK, which is where her husband is from. He's a project manager for an IT firm, and when they came to Lagos on vacation they just decided this is where they wanted to live. There seem to be quite a few expats here with similar stories.

The kids spent a lot of time together on their own today and it just melted my heart. After the massages we all posted up by the pool for the afternoon. No agenda, no sightseeing, just sun and water and doing absolutely nothing.
Headed into Lagos for dinner. The town keeps delivering on food and we keep showing up for it.

Post-dinner walk with these goofballs. And you probably guessed it, we made a quick stop at Lidl for our bottle return and picked up some yogurt and buns to redeem the refund voucher. The bottle return system has become a whole routine at this point.
